FAQs

What’s the difference between this permit and a council permit?

Our permit is for a private car park with secure access and CCTV. A council permit lets you park in some public areas but doesn’t guarantee a space. With us, you always have access to the same car park. It’s easier, safer, and more reliable.

Can I book a certain bay?

No, you can park in any free space in the car park. Spaces are not reserved for individual drivers. However, there are plenty of bays for permit holders. You will usually find a spot without a problem.

Do you have spaces for disabled drivers and parents?

Yes, we have marked bays for disabled drivers and parents with children. These bays are close to exits and easy to use. Signs make them easy to spot. Please use these spaces only if they apply to you.

How safe is the car park?

The car park is covered by CCTV all day and night. We also carry out regular checks to keep things in order. Entry is controlled by the number plate, so only registered cars can get in. This helps keep your vehicle safe.

What if I can’t find a space?

There are over 400 spaces, so it’s rare to be full. If you do arrive and can’t park, please let us know straight away. We will do our best to help. We always aim to keep access open for permitted users.

Can I get a refund if I cancel?

We don’t offer refunds once you’ve bought a permit. Please check the time period before you pay. If you’re not sure, you might want to start with a monthly permit. That way, you’re not tied in for too long.

Can I change my number plate?

Yes, you can update your car details through your Hozah account. It only takes a few minutes to change. Make sure you do this before parking. If your number plate is not correct, the gate won’t open.

Can I let someone else use my permit?

Permits are linked to one car number plate. They can’t be passed to other people. If a friend or guest needs to park, they will need their own permit or pay and stay. Please don’t share your permit details.

Can motorbikes or bikes park here?

No, we do not allow bikes, motorbikes, or scooters in the car park. All vehicles must be under 2.05 metres tall. Large vans and other tall vehicles are also not allowed. The car park is only for standard cars.

Do you have EV chargers?

We do not have electric car charging points yet. You can still park your electric car in a normal space. We hope to add chargers in the future. For now, please charge your car before arriving.
